You’ve got to be carefully taught.

By now most of you have seen the photo or video of the young man and the the Native American elder in DC over the weekend while his companions snickered. The social media backlash has prompted a myriad of responses. Heckling someone whose roots are deeper than yours as you tout desire to make our country great again, would be comical if not so sad. All this while attending a demonstration centered around the “sanctity of life” is ludicrous. What kind of life have they been brought up to value?

The institution these young people attend has issued an apology and condemns the actions. They responded, “This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person. The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion.”

I’m just curious to know what needs ‘investigating’? Ummm…it’s not quite a case of he said/ she said, there’s actual video content. Are there extenuating circumstances that would make this behavior acceptable or justified?? Did we miss footage that could make this a reasonable action?

Oh…you’ll consider expelling those offenders, I get it. Let’s cut out the mold that festers cause the rest of the crop is fine. You wouldn’t want to taint the…
